The 585PC (Progressive Cavity) irons are the next generation of true forged carbon steel irons from Wishon Golf. As the first company to use CNC machining to create the entire back design of a forged iron with the 560MC in 2007, Wishon Golf has expanded on this with the 585PC, using a unique progressive design across the set. 

• 585PC combine a progressive cavity back design on the #4 to 7 with a progressive muscleback design on the #8 to AW, with each iron’s back design fully created by CNC machining to achieve a precise position of the CG in each iron.
• The 585PC cavity back #4 to 7 iron demonstrate a progression of the major rear mass below the back cavity from lowest on the #4 iron, slightly higher with each iron to the #7 iron.  This keeps the CG lower on the low loft irons to enhance launch angle and spin. 
• The 585PC muscleback #8 to AW present a gradual vertical rise in the mass of the muscleback to slightly raise the CG to optimize shot height as loft increases to prevent ballooning of the shot.
• The 585PC are first 5-step forged from soft 1035C carbon steel before each back design is fully created by CNC machining, to reduce internal voids which results in superior impact feel. 
• The U-groove scorelines of the 585PC are individually CNC machined under 2010 USGA/R&A guidelines and are fully conforming to the Rules of Golf. 

• All clubs are made to a standard length of 36.5" (typical 8-iron length) which results in the same setup, swing plane, swing weight, ball placement, angle of attack, etc, with every singe club. This allows golfers to more easily develop a higher level of consistency all the way through the set compared to variable length clubs.
• A new 2-piece hollow body design increases the MOI (i.e. forgiveness) of the head by removing all mass from the inside of the head to be distributed all around the perimeter. This is a very popular design style seen in many of the top clubs on the market such as TaylorMade P790/760, PXG 0311, Mizuno MP-20, Cobra King Forged Tec, Ping i500, G710, etc. 
• The hollow body construction also enables a variable center of gravity which improves the shot trajectory and backspin for each iron in the set, meaning higher trajectory shots with more spin on the low-lofted irons and less ballooning with the wedges.
• High-COR face construction on the 5, 6, 7 irons for higher ball speeds to compensate for shorter shaft length on those clubs
• Low constant offset (2mm) throughout the set
• Traditional GW and SW profile shapes combined with milled faces and a custom sole grind for improved wedge play

Wishon Golf first introduced the Sterling single length irons in April 2016 only to sell out immediately, followed by another sold out batch 3 months later, and this trend continued for about a year as they increased manufacturing to keep up with demand. Those who are familiar with Tom Wishon know that he is one of the most knowledgeable club designers in the industry who has created more original golf clubhead designs than any other person in the 500-year history of the game, and Tom himself claimed the Sterling Single Length Irons were the pinnacle of his career. After 4 years of continued research and testing, Wishon Golf now brings us their next generation of single length irons called the EQ1-NX which builds upon the research and player feedback from the Sterling lineup. 

*Please note that any hybrids ordered with the set will have a WishonS2S Hybrid graphite shaft which is specifically designed for these hybrid heads.

• EQ1-NX Hybrids are the most unique and versatile hybrids ever created...play as Conventional Length or Single Length. Single length construction ensures all possible elements of swing feel are identical for each club in the set...same moment-of-inertia, same total weight, same headweight, same balance point to offer the chance for improved shot consistency.
• Using the Internal weight addition option allows matching EQ1 Single Length iron length OR they can be made to conventional hybrid length! Loft angles match the lofts and loft gaps of the EQ1-NX irons.
